Looking to take in a great film at an historic performance venue? Join the Friends of The Mill Works for "Pollock" (2000) at The Packing House.  The film stars Ed Harris, with Marcia Gay Harden, Amy Madigan, Tom Bower, and Jennifer Connelly. "A film about the life and career of the American painter, Jackson Pollock" (IMDb). Ed Harris directed this film and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of Pollock. Marcia Gay Harden won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for portraying Lee Krasner, Pollock's wife. The film was a long-term personal project for Harris based on his previous reading of Pollock's biography, Jackson Pollock: An American Saga, written by Steven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith.

 Rated-R. Saturday, November 28th. Doors – 6:30pm / Showing - 7:00pm. Reservations recommended.  $5.00 donation at the door. Snacks and soft drinks available.  "BYOB" available with corkage / bottle fee (call 518-791-9474 for BYOB details and limitations).
