Film Screening: "A Retrospective in Fragmentation"

The Packing House, creative art space in Connecticut, is pleased to announce a screening of Ruben Latre: a Retrospective in Fragmentation on February 6th 2016 at 7:00 PM.  The screening will feature works from internationally acclaimed commercial director and cinematographer Ruben Latre followed by a Q&A with Latre’s production partner and executive producer, Melissa Beth.
 
Melissa Beth is the owner of Hostage Films (www.hostagefilms.com), which represents Ruben Latre in the US commercial marketplace and is currently in development on his upcoming feature film slate. Their commercial clients include Samsung, Verizon, Microsoft and Pfizer. Melissa spent 6 years at MTV Networks, has run billion dollar production companies, produced three feature films and serves on the board of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers.
 
Ruben Latre is an award winning commercial director from Barcelona, Spain who in his first year directing commercials was thrice nominated in the category of Best New Director, ultimately taking home the honor at APCP Madrid. Latre’s work has been featured in Adweek, honored at the Director’s Guild of America in Shoot’s New Director’s Showcase, and shortlisted at the AICP Awards for Cinematography. He is recognized around the world for his visual style and sensibility.
